A special International Women’s Day lunch featuring the very inspiring Turia Pitt has raised close to $17,000 in much-needed funds to support the work of the m.a.d.woman foundation.
The event was organised by a team that includes one of our biggest supporters – Metro Property Management. Held at the stunning Peninsula venue in the Docklands, it included a panel discussion on gender equality and pay parity. A huge thanks to the donors of some amazing auction prizes, which combined with a raffle and donations, raised the much-needed funds to support some of our programs supporting women and children in need. A special thanks to the Cocktail Queen, who tripled their prize donation on the spot to raise $7500 from their prizes alone during the event.
